2-digit years without apostrophe

My company is using the 2-digit year format for the citations in a text (e.g. /NEA 09/, /IAEA 10/). Currently it is only possible to have a 2-digit year with an apostrophe (e.g. '99).

After finishing a new document I manually have to remove the apostrophes in the citations from the text by hand. This is no problem with the search&replace function of word. (Searchstring “([A-Z]{2;4}) (’)([0-9]{2})” replaced by “\1 \3”). But this is an unnecessary step I have to make.

My sugestion is to also have an option for a 2-digit year without the apostrophe for the In-Text Citation Templates.
