# Abstracts won't appear

Hi,&nbsp;

I want to export a reference and abstract from Endnote (version 9) to Excel, but the abstracts won’t appear.

The preview does show the reference and abstract, but when I try to export this the abstract disappears.

I used the output-style ‘Annotated’ and I tried every possible file-type (txt., rtf., html and xml).&nbsp;

How can I export the reference together with the abstract?
