Another relative path scheme for file attachment

Two types of  links are currently being provided for file attachment. One of them uses the relative path, which copies the original file and stores it in the default data folder. The other one links a file according to its absolute path. As a windows OS user, I wish to use the file directory variables such as single dot (implying current) and double dots (one-level upper directory) in expressing the whole paths for the files to be linked. If that’s possible, we can have one more option in transporting the Endnote files without broken links for file attachment.
