Apostrophe in first name

Is there any way to escape apostrophes in the first name (e.g. )?

In the last name it is fine, but when I include apostrophes in the first name, it is treated like spaces and unexpected middle-name sort of thing appears.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

I have exactly the same problem:

Vinogradova, Ol’ga 

makes: 

Vinogradova, O. g.

But it should be just

Vinogradova, O.

How to avoid it? Is there any solution?

At least in science, no journal style ever utilizes the whole first name, so we stick with initials in our records, avoiding this kind of difficulty.
