author first name - changes saved

Hi, I have 2 problems

  1. the changes I make do not seem to register  -for ex. for “et al.” 

  2. one author, but all of her entries, appears always with first and last name on the text. all the other work…

I for one, don’t really understand your post.  Could you paste in some examples of what you are seeing? 

What changes don’t register?  Are you sure that the record for that entry has the author properly inserted?
