Bad text block

When I open my EndNote X8 I receive the message “Bad text block”. Can anyone explain what it means, please?

New one for me.  I would call tech support www.endnote.com/support – is it just an endnote program only error or during an interaction with Word?

Thank you for your input. The message does not pop up always, and it disappears after a while. I haven’t been interacting with Word when that happened.
