Sometimes we would like relative importance of pieces of references, is there any procedure available to rank refs by citation? As we know that when we download the selected refs, format inlucding citation times can be chosen, however, such kind of information can not be used in our Endnote. In addition, online updating of those ciation is also recommended.
Well, if you have information about citation data for individual papers, you would use custom field and include it in your output style. My understanding is, we need to buy such citation information for individual papers from ISI which sells impact factors etc. I did cost survey long time ago, and it was very high.
