Color images from several articles viewed as another article

Recently I have encountered a journal that permits color illustrations as part of an article.

The problem is that none of the color illustrations appear within the article. They are

collected in one place within the issue and the publisher includes this collection in its

table of contents (and downloaded citation) as another article entitled “Color Images”

with no author.

I would be interested in hearing any suggestions about how this “article” can be linked

to the relevant article citations within EndNote.

Sounds to me like the publisher is creating a nightmare?  Can you point us to the publication?

I guess I would try to treat it something like you treat an errata?  Sometimes, I put that as a square bracketted item at the end of the title field.  Alternatively, you could create a second reference, with the appropriate extracted page number and quote both in your papers?
