Hi,
I combined two word documents. The new single document has all the text confused with signs, symbols and other things that appear like a virus. Can anyone help how to reset?
Many thanks
Dom

Like this:
{Agarwal, 2005 #64;Agarwal, 2005 #64} which means that CWYW is off, and can reenabled from the format bibliography dialogs.
or
{ADDIN EN.CITE <EndNote><Cite><Author>Agarwal</Author><Year>2005</Year><RecNum>64</RecNum><DisplayText>(Bina Agarwal and Alessandro Vercellli, 2005)</DisplayText><record><rec-number>64</rec-number><foreign-keys><key app=“EN” db-id=“zwfx29tsnpep9ied2xlp0s5jdf0xprxx90pp”>64</key></foreign-keys><ref-type>6</ref-type><contributors><authors><author>Agarwal, Bina</author><author>Vercellli, etc…
in which case, the word field codes are showing. . What version of Endnote are you using? There is a setting in CWYW which should unset the display field codes in Word automatically.
Hi,
Many thanks.
I got another answer. It worked. I selected Alt + F9. It sorted me out.

Yes, that is the Word short cut for hide/show fields.
