EndNote 9 or X1?

Hi,

I am currently using EN 7 and am pretty happy. However, I would like to have the option to have the articles attached to the reference. My school now enables me to install EN9 or ENX1. Which version is considered better and more stable? I am working on Windows XP and Word 2007.

I would consider X1.  When you do, I would encourage you to follow these excellent instructions on upgrading from Endnote7 to X1 at the University of Queenland’s website (thanks to John East). Their site has a wealth of information that complements the information and FAQs available from Endnote’s support site.
