I keep my Endnote library on iDisk. I use Endnote with MS Word at home and at work. If I add a reference at work, the library is automatically synced and I can continue working at home with the same library. All this appears in danger with today’s iCloud announcement. Apple is about to ditch MobileMe and with it iDisk. Unless there is soon a new Endnote version which is iCloud-aware, we are about to lose a critical funcionality…
This seems like a reasonable point. I will send this along to our contacts at Apple and see what they come back with. If there is an API released as part of iCloud, we will certainly look at it to see if there is a way for us to use that for EndNote integration.
