Endnote creates intext HTML instead of a nice neat reference?! Advice needed ♥

Hi there,

I have a problem, recently my endnotes gone silly. :mansad:

When i insert a reference into my word document instead of a neat eg (Smith, 2008) endnote spits out html?

This happens for every author etc and has just started happening. When i print thoug hit looks like normal. This is very distracting for me.

If anyone could help please do let me know, thanks in advance.

Field codes are showing.  hit alt+f9.  (which is how you probably accidentally turned them on).
