Hi
So to confuse things I have two laptops. One has EndNote X9 and the other EndNote 21.

On the one with EndNote 21 I exported my library but then somehow merged that and the existing library . This has synced online so I seem to have two of every folder. However when I open my EndNote X9 it is not merging - so that is a good thing.

How can I revert to just a single set of folders on 21 without messing up my 30000 written words with references in them.

However, if I log into EndNote Web it just has my original library there

Hi,
If you have your original, not duplicated library on EndNote Online, you could create a new empty library on your EN21 Desktop and then sync with EN Online. They will merge, but as the new one is empty for now, it should work.

It seems to be the original not duplicated so I will start a new library and see what happens.
