EndNote X4 for Macintosh Word 2008

Good evening,

I installed EndNote X4 for my laptop (Mac OSX; Word 2008) and after installation my computer became really really slow. I used to work with EndNote X3 for a while and did not experience problems with computer’s speed. I was wondering if that could be and issue with compatibility or decreased speed should be as a result from something else.
