Endote X7.2 (update 2) - option to disable Shared Library (Cloud Service)

Hi All,

I am planning roll out Upd 2 for Endnote X7 (1500+ computers). I notice a new service introduced with (Cloud/Shared Library).

A roll out is on hold becaus of the Cloud function.

It would great to have an option to disable the funtion via setting or even Registry.

Is it possible to put it into consideration and introduce a solution?

I tell them all to X out of it and ignore it the next splash screen to “Connect”!  I agree it would be better if it didn’t happen at all.

Hi, 

Do you have a timeline or the ability to shut off cloud access now?

TR Tech Support has instructed to block all network traffic to *.myendnotweb.com and *.endnote.com but that breaks the application. Case #TS-02364408

We need the ability or we will have to drop this application.
