I’ve been using EndNote for a couple of years now, and something that I’m missing from other reference managers that I’ve used is the ability to have different fields for direct quotes and paraphrases. I found that this made it easier to distinguish between the two types of material that I was using from my sources, which made it simpler to make sure that I wasn’t giving a direct quote without quotation marks or a paraphrased set of information with quotation marks.
