# Help:  'Exclude author' error

If anyone could help me with this i’d be really grateful.

Endnote X0.2, Word 2002, Windows XP, author-date style.&nbsp;

The author name won’t disappear when I edit citation\>‘exclude author’.&nbsp; The author is removed in the temporary citation but when I format it appears again.&nbsp; I have been doing this for years with no problem but suddenly it won’t work.&nbsp; Any ideas?

I have tried it in a new document and the same thing happens.

Help!!
