I combined two word documents. I made citations in the new document, but I get a different setting, For instance. The adoption of semiotics in Britain was influenced by its prominence in the work of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies (Catherine, 2010).
On the same document now, I have …in the work of the Centre for Contemporary Cultural Studies {Catherine, 2010}.
The brackets are different. Any help?

Have you tried unformating and reformating the endnote citations/bibliography (or paper, depending on the version of endnote or word) and reassign the output style you want. It looks like an incomplete temporary citation for the curly pracketed one, missing the #rec number?
