how to extract Greek alphabet from PubMed as original form?

Hi, does anyone know how to extract Greek alphabet from PubMed as original form?

For example,

When I search "PKC α activation of p120-catenin serine 879 phospho-switch disassembles VE-cadherin junctions and disrupts vascular integrity.’ using Online Search in my Endnote,

What was actually extracted in my Endnote is “PKC alpha activation of p120-catenin serine 879 phospho-switch disassembles VE-cadherin junctions and disrupts vascular integrity.”

Please see the attached figure.

PubMed is not including the Greek character in the format it provides to EndNote. If you change the display from Abstract to MEDLINE, you will see the format being supplied to EndNote lists the following for the Title field:

TI  - PKCalpha activation of p120-catenin serine 879 phospho-switch disassembles
VE-cadherin junctions and disrupts vascular integrity.

I think they are there in PubMed’s XML output, but someone would have to write a parser to extract them for Endnote?  Does this need to be posted to Suggestions?

Hello Leanne,

Yes, a request like that would need to go to the Suggestions Forum.
