How to suppress the author in a consecutive citation in a bibliography

I’d like to create a bib. following a style sheet in which I get this result:

Smith, John (1999). Title. etc.

(2000). Title. etc. (where Smith is the author of the second item)

Right now, I only know how to throw a “_____ .” in front of the second entry. Any tips appreciated.
