JOUR vs JFULL

Why does JFULL have a “title” and “authors” field (additionally to “journal title” and “editors”) like the JOUR reference type?  I assumed that JOUR is for articles and JFULL for journals as a whole.  Moreover, JFULL doesn’t have a publisher field (JOUR does have).  Why is this?

Or what are the semantics of JOUR and JFULL?

Hello,

I, too, do not know why there are these two reference types. I am using RefMan 12.0.1 and the only difference I see is that “Journal” has two fields (publisher, publication place)  more than “Journal (Full)”.

Best regards,

Sabine
