Misidentified fields in RIS export (Endnote X7)

During the RIS export of a large library (ca 150 000 refs), about 50 references got their ‘Title’ field exported as ‘Secondary Title’.

All references in the library are of generic type. On the screen there is no visible difference between the ‘Titles’ that exported properly and those that were misidentified.  The operation was repeated, with similar results.

Any idea why this happens?

How can I be sure that the other fields were exported properly?

The results go into online bibliography, and I wouldn’t like to confuse the end users.

Hard to say without seeing the .RIS file and corresponding Endnote records. Can you provide/H a sample of 5-7 of the problematic records as anexported …RIS file and an Endnote library file (.enl)?
