I have many references from first authors with identical names, as for example Chen, Griffiths or Kim. Is it possible to group these in the library table list of all references and that their first initial (or maybe all initials) is also displayed? So that for example first comes all references by “Chen, A”, then all by “Chen, B”, etc.
As the number of given names presented for authors varies between journals, this would need a possibility to actively move references from one author to another (if this would first be done automatically by EndNote). There is also the problem with double given names. Sometimes a hyphenated name Abcde-Fghij is abbreviated A-F, but sometimes only as A. This would also need a possibility to actively move references from one author to another.
