I’m trying to figure out how to enter a new reference in EndNote X7 that is a citation I found in a book. Something like XYZ in ABC.
Any suggestion?
Secondary citations may be handled differently depending upon the style guidelines of the respective discipline. However, for Author-Date citations one way to write a secondary citation would be:
According to Smith (1960) the survey may present problematic results (as cited by Goldsmith, 1979) ….
