Search failure for words with apostrophes

I have several entries along the lines of:

The Accomplish’d Lady’s Delight in preserving, physick, beautifying, and cookery. Containing, I. The art of preserving, and candying fruits and flowers, and the making of all sorts of conserves, syrups, and jellies. II. The physical cabinet, or, excellent receipts in physick and chirurgery; together with some rare beautifying waters, to adorn and add…

However, searching for ‘accomplish’d’ only finds two of them, while searching for ‘delight’ gets the lot.

Answers on the back of a postcard would be much appreciated, as this one is driving me ever so slightly crazy!

Is it possible some use the “prime” upright character and the other’s use the slanted apostrophe character which map to different keys?  – I find that you are always best searching for less rather than more.
