searching for duplicates by DOI (or other methods of removing duplicates).

I typically have both Pubmed an Web of Science records in my libraries. I am trying to find a way to optimize the removal of duplicates. I typically remove by author, year and title, and then by author, year and journal title and various other combinations of fields.  I have asked TR that they include searching for duplicates by DOI and I see someone else asked for removing Pubmed duplicates by PMID or accession number.

Do others have any suggestions for an improved method for removing duplicates, particularly web of science dups of PubMed records?

Many thanks!

I tend to use combinations of Year +/- volume  and or  page numbers, sometimes + ref type and go from there.
