I’m Trying to create an mst for a custum install for Reference manager 12 and then for deployment over the network, however, every time I use the MST I get an error that another edition is already installed. Not sure what’s going on…any help would be great.

Hello jensv,

If you are already familar with editing the MSI to create the transform, you will need to adjust the following when you have the MSI open in ORCA:

  • On the Tables pane navigate to InstallExecuteSequence table and look for Action name ERROR_COEXISTEDITION
  • Changed the condition to:

((UILevel < 4) AND ((NOT Installed) AND (NOT PATCH))) AND 0
