wdApp.Documents.Add fails since EndNote installed

Hi,

I have an automated Excel document that attempts to open a blank word document using wdApp.Documents.Add but this now fails since I installed EndNote (latest version) with the error 430 from VBA “Class does not support Automation or does not support expected interface” and an error from Word “Word cannot save this file because it is already open elsewhere. (C:…\EndNote\EndNote Cwyw.dot)”.

Is this a known issue, and is there a fix planned or a workaround?

this might be related to the powerpoint kind of problem reported here.  I would contact (phone is often faster than web page support page) Tech Support and see if they have had any joy with microsoft.
