Citation Sequence swapped after accidently "overwriting" a new citation while being added

Hello,

I actually have exactly the same problem like this guy (“Problem No. 2”):

I accidently hit some keys while Endnote processed my request to add a new citation. From that point on, all my in text citations swaped position, while the sequence itself is still ok. How do I make them swap back one position?! We are talking about my Thesis of 50 pages…!!!
