Much to my surprise after slogging through a bunch of publication updating in my copy of EndNote, my new MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2018) popped up with a box prompting me to update Java to Version 8 update 221.
Installed the update and suddenly my EndNote X8.2 is blazing fast again! No 20-second waits while dragging pubs into folders or saving updates.
