Endnote X1 w/Word 2008, pagination issues

Running Endnote X1 with Word 2008 on an Intel Mac. I am using the new plugin which works. The issue is that the pagination takes a LONG time, it paginates to the end of the document over and over again. It takes about 5-7 minutes to format the bibliography. This never happened with Endnote X and Word 2004.

Is there something that I need to change? 

Looking forward to tighter integration between Endnote X2 and Word 2008. I hope that the toolbar will snap into Word rather than floating disembodied as it does now, and that this pagination issue will be resolved.

I don’t have an answer to this - but I have a similar problem with a PC, Word 2007 and Endnote X1 - every time I put in a reference, it takes me to the end of the document.

Hello there. I agree that something needs to be done about repagination, but there is a way around it while Thomson sort out integration rather better than it is at present. In the meantime, put Word into draft view, and the problem disappears. Not entirely satisfactory, but it does the job…
