Hello,
I recently installed Endnote X5 in a new computer which runs on Windows 10 The library looks and works fine in the new computer except that I couldn't able to download any new citations to my library from any resources including Pubmed, Google scholar etc. When I download a citation, it shows an error message with an red X mark and the text "EndNote Error". If I click Ok, it goes to the "choose an import filter" screen" but there are no filters listed. I am not exactly sure what the issue is.
Could anyone help with this error please?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble.
You can try a preference reset:

You may also need to repair the application or do an uninstall then reinstall.
