Extract references from multiple PDF files at once

Hi,

I have some old PDF files and I would like to extract the references directly to Endnote. Woud this be possible at once?

How to import 20 PDF files for example to Endnote with the reference extracted properly?

Thanks

Hello, EndNoter.

You can import a whole folder of PDFs, though if they’re too old they may not have DOI numbers, which are necessary for EndNote to be able to locate the reference information for each PDF.

To learn more about importing PDFs, please see the video here: http://youtu.be/lHv_U6hZczM and the knowledge base article here: http://endnote.com/kb/108622

OK thanks.

Can EndNote import:

  • from subfolders ?

- CHM, DJVU, EPUB, MOBI files ?

Yes, EndNote can import from subfolders. I recommend our training video on Importing PDFs here for additional information: http://endnote.com/training

At this time, EndNote can only import PDFs. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The tutorial links do not work, anymore, at least not for me. Could you please update? Thank you!
