Highlight references in bibliography

Hello,

I would like to know, if it is possible to add a charakter (*) to specific references that shows only in my bibliography and not in the footnotes. The point is, that I have to highlight certain references as extensions to a former bibliography that my paper is refering to.

I am thankful for your help!

You cannot make a manual edit to the bibliography but once your bibliography is finalized you can Convert to Plain Text then you would be able to edit the bibliography.

Please see the full details on this on our website:

You might want to consider a similar process to that in this thread. You could create a field called asterisk (as opposed to excluded).  http://community.thomsonreuters.com/t5/EndNote-How-To/Denoting-references-in-final-reference-list-with/m-p/149295#M26649
