Is EndNote 20.1 for Mac compatible with Microsoft Word 2021 for Mac (standalone version)?

Is EndNote 20.1 for Mac compatible with Microsoft Word 2021 for Mac (standalone version)? Such Word version has been available since 14th September 2021 (more than a month ago), and the EndNote “Compatibility and System Requirements” web page does not mention it and still shows the older “Microsoft Word [CWYW] for macOS: 2016, 2019, Office 365 (locally installed desktop version only)”.

Is any EndNote person monitoring this forum? It is surprising that we have no news about it yet.
