I am looking at buying Endnote for the first time and wondered if someone would be kind enough to answer two questions:
1. Does the licence allow it to be installed on two machines if only in use on one at any given time? I can't be alone in wanting to be able to use it on my laptop in the library but on a desktop at home.
2. What is the cheapest option for buying X2? I am a UK student if that helps!

To answer your questions:
1. Yes the EndNote single user licence allows you to install the software on both a desktop and laptop for your own personal usage (as you state, as long as only one installation is in use at any one time).
2. There are student licences with lower prices available, however depending on which University you are studying at in the UK there are sometimes further discounts if they have a site licence. Please feel free to e-mail me on email@example.com letting me know where you are studying and I can advise you further.
