No option to insert citation at Author(Date)

I recently updated my mac to macOS Catalina (version 10.15.1) and subsequently updated EndNote 9 to the latest version. Now, as I’m working in Word (version 16.30), I no longer have the option to enter citations as anything other than the following formats: (Author, Date), (Author), or (Date). Specifically, I do not have the option to enter citations as follows: Author(Date). 

Any suggestions on how to address this issue? Is this problem due to the software updates? When can we expect a fix?

The issue sounds like the tab in Word has changed from the EndNote X9 tab to the EndNote tab which works with EndNote online which does not have the option to produce the Author(Year) format of a citation.

You should be able to use the following steps to switch the tab in Word back to the EndNote X9 tab.
