Short title doesn't show up

Hello folks,

at some point at my work i noticed a bug which causes the wrong display of my citations. It looks like that after a certain footnote endnote seems to forget that i already cited a certain source, in any case – it doesn’t use the short title. 

I added two pictures to show what I mean. Footnote 97 works perfectly fine, in footnote 98 Endnote seems to ‘forget’ it.

Is there a workaround?

Is there at least a workaround to force endnote to show the short titled version?

I think you will need to contact tech support - as without being able to look at the process in your document, it is hard to trouble shoot.
