Hi, I have recently started having a problem when people have sent me Word documents with Endnote references in them, some of the refs are converted to hyperlinks in the text, which look like this: HYPERLINK "http://www.ncbi…etc{}. I have never had endnote problems before on this computer. When I right-click on the hyperlink text and select “remove hyperlink” it goes away and is replaced by the author’s name as it should be. However I can’t spend hours doing this for every document, and the docs are sometime filled with pages of this hyperlink text. Can anyone advise on how i can stop this- it seems to be a problem with my word settings or an incompatibility…i have run several virus scans and all seem to be OK. Thanks in advance for any advice.
