What can i do when my end EndNote library deleted?

@jason @tmartin

When my library deleted according to some problems on my Pc, i prepared it from word document , i prepare it from endnote tab in word-export to endnote-export travellling library.
from this time when i trying to add another citation it appear like that:

And when trying to add new citation, end note ask me to delete every thing (numbers-words)  between ()

and give me the following message

@jason @tmartin

First  it appears you have your temporary delimiters set to normal parentheses rather than curly parentheses, hence the second image you posted.

Second, it maybe that it can’t find your selected output style, or maybe autoformatting is off (but that isn’t the case with the next image, as it is trying to update the citations).

First change the temporary citation delimters either in the format bibliography menu (for this document only) or in the preferences (for all documents if that is where you changed it) to curly brackets.

Once this happens, maybe the citation will also update.  Remember, the record numbers might not match if you retrieved the library from the travelling library.

AS you say, the record numbers  not match if you retrieved the library from the travelling library, so what can i do to use my document and add another citations?

I try what you say about change citation style and brackets i change it  to curly brackets , this change all document citation to {Singh, 2011 #1} formate when trying to update citations it doesnot chang and give the following message

Not the output style.  The temporary delimiters.  see 1st attached image (to adjust in word).  see your endnote preferences to adjust in Endnote desktop.

But if that is what you are seeing, if you double click on the matching record it is finding, it should insert it according to your output style.

Really thanks i do that and it solve the problem of the attached jpg.

but the problem of (the record numbers  not match if you retrieved the library from the travelling library) not solved, so what can i do to use my document and add another citations and still have the same output style instead of {Singh, 2011 #1} for new added citations?

Sorry, but I think you will have to reattach all the citations to the new record numbers in your new library, once.

Okay, but if possible what steps to follow to reattach all the citations to the new record numbers in my new library.

Endnote is pulling up the closest match in the views you are showing.  You just need to double click on the right one, once, going thru your manuscript, when endnote pulls up that window.

sorry, i donnot understand what you say.

I think you need to call support to walk you thru the steps.  Sorry.  Their info is copied below.
