Dear Jason,
thanks a lot for your e-mail. I should just like to take this opportunity to ask you some additional questions concerning X2 for Mac: will it be compatible with word processors other than Microsoft Word? What will be the price?
Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Overall the feature set will be very similar to the EndNote X2 Windows version. We are targeting a few Macintosh-only features but these could still change - even at the last minute - so everyone will need to wait for the final release to see.
As for " ...compatible with word processors other than Microsoft Word?" - I presume this means "CWYW" support for other word processors. No - EndNote X2 for Macintosh will not include this feature. We hear many requests for "Apple Pages integration" which we would like to support but this is completely dependent on Apple. You might want to send a suggestion to them as I imagine it will be more meaningful from a customer than from us - http://www.apple.com/feedback/pages.html.

Dear Jason,
thanks for your suggestion, indeed Apple's policy doen't make much sense to me.
As to the price issue, I bought an old version of Endnote for Windows (you should be able to check this on your logs): do I qualify for Endnote X2 for Mac as an update? Or should I purchase it all over again? And in that case, what would the price be?
Thanks,
Amedeo
