brackets in references section

Hello

In Harvard style, it omits the brackets around the publication date in the references section; how can I edit this?

Thanks

Andrew

Hello,

You will have to edit that style. To do that, please follow these steps.

  1. In EndNote, go to the ‘Edit’ menu, click on ‘Output Styles’ and select ‘Open Style Manager.’ \

  2. Double-click on the ‘Harvard’ style so that it is open.

  3. Under the Bibliography heading, click on Templates.

  4. Add brackets around the date for each type of reference.

  5. Go to the ‘File’ menu and select ‘Save As.’

  6. By default, it will save it as Harvard Copy, go ahead and click Save so that you retain the original Harvard Style and the one you have edited.

  7. Lastly, in your document, select the new Harvard Copy style.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Best regards,

Miguel Mendoza
