I work with ENDNOTE 7.8 and need to import references in text format into ENDNOTE. I tried using the ris format drop menu. But it does not import the references into ENDNOTE. I have attached a sample of the references. Kindly help. There are around 100 references that I need to import .

If you have a list in Word of references you have several options for trying to get that data into EndNote.
I would suggest trying a program called Citavi
You can copy text from a document and paste into their program and it will create references. You can then use the steps below to convert that data over to EndNote.
Another option would be to try WizFolio
WizFolio (www.wizfolio.com) is a web-based bibliographic management program similar to EndNote Web or RefWorks.
They are web based and you can copy text from a document and paste into their website and it will create references. You can then use the steps below to convert that data over to EndNote.
If you only want to use EndNote:
Some customers have had success at converting an existing text file into a tagged data file that can be imported into EndNote, however the process is difficult and may take more time than finding another source for the references, or even copying and pasting the text into new references by hand. More information on preparing text files for importing can be found in the "Importing Reference Data" section of the Help File.
As a workaround, you can attempt to add the references through other methods:
You can use the Online Search command in EndNote to search for and obtain the references from various online databases.
You can search for references from an online database and export them to EndNote.
You can manually enter references into the library using the References menu > New Reference command.
