Short of using certain other software packages on non-Windows desktop applications, such as Papers for Mac OS X or an elaborate document management system, is there any way to perform a reverse lookup of bibliographic information for downloaded or copied PDF files with a text layer? In other words, can metadata be generated automatically from document text data and then matched to a PubMed reference that can then be imported into EndNote X1? Thanks in advance!
