To Whom it may concern:

I would like to know if it is possible to preformat a field, for example “Title” with letter characteristics so that in the selected output style it would be rendered. If I want a title to be printed in Bold I can do this manually in a register, but I want the program to do this for a selected style for me without the mannual process.

Is this possible inserting some special mark <B> for example in the tyle manager in the template as used for HTML programming?

The output style can define the attributes of the title (bolding the word Title there, bolds the title in the output).  If you wanted to include HTML - you could introduce that into the output style around your “Title” field, I assume.

Thanks. In effect changing the case to bold in the “title” field of the used reference template solves the problem-

Unfortunately, EndNote at present does not recognize HTML coding so changing the font style is limited to changing the selected text within the Endnote field by using the options available in the toolbar or the output style .

The link doesn’t work. I get a server time-out error.

Everyone besides me. It was real news for me. But I happy to visit this page and learned it. alternatehistory.com/forum/members/dariusperez.108887 - I also hope you will find a useful source for you in the tab “information”.

To Whom It May Concern:

I need to find and style that gives me the references inside the manuscript with superscript numbers in brakets as shown “to enhance the expression level of exogenous genes.[20]” (only in superscript)

and in the list of references should be on the way shown below.

[1] Brogden, K. A. Antimicrobial Peptides: Pore Formers or Metabolic
Inhibitors in Bacteria? Nat. Rev. Microbiol. 2005, 3(3), 238–250.
DOI: 10.1038/nrmicro1098.

The journal mention "References should be presented in a separate section at the end of the document, in accordance with the ACS Style Guide (3rd ed.) guidelines. " However, when trying to find an ACS style, none has the style mentioned above. Any help? please? thank you, JC.
