When I do an online search I need to be able to check if I’ve already a reference in my library. Is there any way to have a window open with the online results and another window open with the local library results (to compare both sets)?

If you want to work this way, you should open a “temporary” library - I do this quickly by openning a new library and accepting the My Endnote Library default, and say yes to write over. If I am doing an extensive search, then I just save things I am interested in, copying them to the same “temporary” library, and import them into my main endnote library with discard duplicates on.
Thank you!
