If you are talking about what I think you are talking about, it is possible to edit the output style you use so that it’s using the short form for repeated consecutive citations instead of the ibid.
- In EndNote go to "Edit > Output Styles > Open Style Manager.
- Double click on the style you wish to edit.
- Expand the Footnotes section.
- Choose Repeated Citations.
- On the right are the settings for Repeated consecutive citations and sources. Set these as needed.
- Go to File / Save As and save the file under a new name.
- Close the style so you are back to your library.
- Format your bibliography using the newly created style.
