How to change from text-citation to number-citation by Endnote X7

Hi everyone,

I checked the questions in the community, but I cannot find the answer. So I create this new question.

I would like to ask that how can I change from text-citation to number-citation in Microsoft Word 2016 with EndNote X7.

*** For example, I have the following paragraph:

"The compound A is good (Jack et al,. 2011). However, compound B is better (Yang et al., 2015). Besides, compound C should also be taken into consideration (Alice et al., 2012)."

In the reference part:

   Jack .......

   Alice .......

   Yang .......

*** I want to automatically change this paragraph into:

"The compound A is good [1]. However, compound B is better [2]. Besides, compound C should also be taken into consideration [3]."

In the reference part:

   1. Jack .......

   2. Yang .......

   3. Alice .......

Please advise me in this case.

Thank you so much.

I believe if you switch your output style in the manuscript in word, on the endnote ribbon, to "Numbered" you should get square brackets in order of appearance.
