How to change order of multiple sources, same author

Hi

I am using multiple sources from the same author within my document.  2021a, 2021b, etc

The in-text citation is citing them in order that I added them into Endnote as new references rather than citing them as the correct reference source.  How do I correct this?

Also the third citation isn't being included appropriately.  The in-text citation is saying 2021b but should be 2021c.  I can't seem to edit this anywhere.

Help please

Thanks

The order of a, b, c is defined by the sort order of the bibliography (and this is correct according to most publishers requirements).  since this is usually alphabetical, you can get b before a in the document.  If b and c are extremely similar - it can treat them as duplicates and combine them.  what are the citations for b and c?
