How to have PDFs open in Adobe Acrobat, not Preview, when double-clicked

I am using Endnote X7 on Apple OS X. When I double-click a PDF attached to a reference, it opens in Preview; I want it to open in Adobe Acrobat. Where do I set this?

The designated program for viewing PDF files is set by the at Mac OS and not Endnote. To change the default setting from “Preview” to Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, open a PDF file while holding the Control key. Click “Get Info” from the submenu then click the “Open With” drop-down menu and select Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Reader… Click “Change All” which will set the default program.
